San Andreas follows CJ through an open world of cities and countryside. Driving, missions and character customisation give the adventure its variety; the original PS2 edition is a way to revisit this era of Grand Theft Auto.
Choose the right console and edition
This guide covers the original PlayStation 2 release. A PS2 or PS2 Slim lets you use the PS2 disc; the console does not have native HDMI, so check how you will connect it to your television. You also need a compatible memory card to save your progress. The game and any accessories not listed in the console bundle must be obtained separately.
